This cozy afternoon event is for all levels of dancers to show off their dancing talent to friends and family in an affordable and non-judgmental atmosphere. It has everything a competition has, but none of that scary judging. It might also be a chance for those dancers who are entering the IGB two weeks later to rehearse their skills and hone their ability to navigate amongst others on the floor. To dance in the showcase, please see your Allegro dance instructor for an entry form or download it from www.allegroballroom.com. Refreshments will be served and plenty of general dancing will be available for everyone. Come and join in the fun and lend your support to all those willing to share their dance talents! We look forward to seeing many of you on the dance floor this year. Earthquake Relief Fundraiser on July 12 On Saturday, July 12, the Allegro Ballroom and the Galaxy Band will host a Charity Dance to raise funds for the China Sichuan Province Earthquake Relief Fund. All proceeds and donations will go to the American Red Cross to help earthquake survivors. The event will take place from 6:00 PM until 12:00 midnight. There will be plenty of dancing, activities, light refreshments, desserts, and beverages. General admission is $20 and all donations are gladly accepted. Please join us to support this worthy cause. Overindulge with BBQ and Dancing on July 4 Join us on Friday, July 4, for our 4th of July BBQ and Dance Party. We will have plenty of food served from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM. Then, take an Argentine Tango lesson with Mathew MaMoody from 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM in the Mini Ballroom, and dance all evening from 8:00 PM to midnight with ballroom music in the Main Ballroom. The entire evening is free for Allegro members or only $9 for non-members! Saturday Theme Nights Have fun at our Theme parties on Saturday nights! Come dance ballroom, swing, nightclub and more.
